Court: Tx 13- Corpus/Edbrg  04/25/2019  Insured Loses Right to Challenge TWIA Payment by not Requesting an Appraisal

Although an appellate court found allegations of systematic malfeasance by the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association disturbing, the court granted summary judgment to TWIA because the insured had waived the right to challenge the determination of the loss amount by not requesting an appraisal.
