Court: SD Tx  11/27/2019  Court Denies Motion to Remand Based on Stipulation of Damages Filed after Removal

The court determined that a stipulation of damages of less than $75,000 that was filed after removal was insufficient to justify remand to state court because the amount in controversy is determined at the time of removal.
