Court: WD Tx  03/16/2023  Insured's Chapter 541 and Bad Faith Claims are Time-Barred

A court of the Western District of Texas dismissed an insured's claims for Tex. Ins. Code Ch. 541 violations and the breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, holding that the insured's causes of action accrued on the date of the insurer's explanation of benefits and that suit was filed beyond the two-year limitation.
