Court: Tx Sup  05/07/2021  Court Abused Its Discretion in Striking Counteraffidavit on Medical Expenses in UIM Lawsuit

The Court held that a registered nurse with extensive experience in medical billing and coding was qualified to provide a counteraffidavit on the reasonableness of charges incurred by a hospital, an orthopedic surgeon, and a physical therapist even if she did not have experience in the same field of medicine as the providers whose fees were being challenged.
