Court: Tx 6-Texarkana  02/15/2022  Award of Statutory Penalties Against Auto Insurer Affirmed

The Court found that the trial court had properly determined that the insured was entitled to statutory penalties because the insurer had paid the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits after the statutory deadline even if the insurer made the payment prior to the insured filing the lawsuit.
