A magistrate of the Northern District of Texas denied an insurer's motions to exclude and for protection against testimony and discovery regarding the appraisal process, holding that appraisers have first-hand knowledge relevant to causation and that information surrounding the appraisal process is not confidential under § 154.073 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
