The Court held that although it was "sympathetic to" an out-of-network provider for being reimbursed a mere $1,672.07 for providing complex and life-saving medical care by an insurer under the Texas Insurance Code's expedited arbitration process for settling payment disputes, the strict confines of Texas Insurance Code Chapter 1467 require the Court to uphold an arbitrator's award under the statute's strict confines where there is at least some evidence to support the arbitrator's award.
