A magistrate of the Northern District of Texas denied an insurer's motion to strike attorney's fees under § 542A.003, finding that the insured's pre-suit notice complied with the legislative intent of the statute and that the insurer's position would read additional requirements into Chapter 542A not contemplated in the statute.
