Court: Tx 5-Dallas  07/20/2021  Court Dismisses Appeal Regarding Appointment of an Umpire for Lack of Jurisdiction

The Court found that the policy provided that a judge could appoint an umpire for an appraisal without either party filing suit and since neither party filed a lawsuit before the court appointed the umpire, there was no final judgment or appealable order and therefore, the appellate court did not have jurisdiction.
