Court: 5th Cir  02/03/2022  Fifth Circuit Reverses and Renders Judgment for Insurer that Named Perils Coverage Only Covers Named Perils

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed and rendered judgment in favor of a commercial property insurer, agreeing with the insurer's interpretation of "Perils Covered: Windstorm or Hail Associated with a Named Storm" provision, finding the policy provided coverage for windstorms or hail but not flood resulting from Hurricane Harvey.
