Court: SD Tx  06/16/2021  District Court Denies Motion to Remand in UIM Dispute

The court found that the removal of a UIM dispute, which converted a state declaratory judgment act claim to a federal declaratory judgment act claim, was proper because the amount in controversy at the time of filing exceeded $75,000 and the insured's stipulation filed with her motion to remand was ineffective.
