Court: Tx 14-Houston  10/27/2020  Insurer Denied Mandamus Relief After Court Strikes Insurer's Counter-Affidavits on Medical Expenses

The court joined the majority of Texas appellate courts finding that the insurer had an adequate remedy on appeal even if the district court had erred by striking all of the insurer's counter-affidavits disputing the reasonableness of the insured's medical expenses in a lawsuit alleging the insurer had breached its contract by denying UM/UIM coverage.
