Court: Tx 2-Ft Worth  04/15/2021  Court Abused Its Discretion in Refusing to Abate Bad Faith Claims in UIM Lawsuit

The Court found that the district court should have abated the insured's bad faith claims against its auto insurer until after the insured obtained a judgment against the underinsured driver and a determination that the tortfeasor's policy limits are insufficient to pay the judgment.
