Court: Tx 2-Ft Worth  12/23/2020  Insurer Prevails in Dispute over Prompt Payment Deadlines

The Court found that the insurer's payment of an appraisal award was not an admission of liability under the Texas Prompt Payment of Claims Act when its initial delay in payment was due to its conclusion that the amount of the loss fell below the deductible.
