Bakri v. Nautilus Insurance Co
A court of the Northern District of Texas held that an insured's claims handling expert may testify while also holding that the insurer's motion for summary judgment fails where the insured presented evidence of covered hail damage despite the policy's cosmetic damage exclusion and evidence that the insurer failed to conduct a reasonable investigation or effectuate a prompt, fair, and equitable settlement of the claim.
