AmGuard Insurance Co. v. Lone Star Legal Aid

Court: SD Tx  08/27/2019  District Court Holds that Mortgageholder did not have Standing to Sue on a Commerical Property Policy where Indebtedness had been Retired

The court found that the mortgageholder had to satisfy the injury in fact requirement, and the mortgageholder could not do so because the mortgage clause only protected the mortgageholder for advanced funds not indebtedness that had been retired.
