Advanced Physicians, S.C. v. Connecticut General Life Insurance Co.
A court of the Northern District of Texas found that health care provider's claims for reimbursement under employee benefit plan for treatment of former NFL players' injuries were properly denied by plan administrator on the grounds that the claims were for work-related injuries incurred while active players, and granted summary judgment in favor of the insurers on all of the health care provider's claims.
