Profile Bryan Giribaldo concentrates his practice on insurance litigation and coverage disputes, as well as complex business and commercial litigation. Bryan was born in New York, but spent his formative years growing up in Frisco, Texas. Bryan attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning his B.A. in History in 2011. While at the University of Texas, Bryan participated in the University’s Business Foundations Program, earning a Business Foundations Certificate with Highest Honors upon his graduation in 2011. Bryan attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, graduating cum laude in 2014. During his final year in law school, Bryan served as the Student Works Editor for the Florida Journal of Technology Law & Policy. Bryan’s case comment evaluating and analyzing a controversial Federal District Court of Appeal decision was selected for publication in the Journal’s June 2014 issue. Bryan worked in both small and large firm settings in both Texas and Florida, practicing a variety of areas of litigation, including personal injury insurance defense, commercial litigation, consumer litigation, and first-party property insurance litigation. Bryan has worked for both policyholders and insurers, and is able to see cases from “both sides of the bench.” This allows for greater anticipation of an opponent’s next move, and increases the chance of a favorable resolution. Bryan focuses his specialty in first-party property insurance litigation, with knowledge and experience in residential and commercial claims in both Texas and Florida. Bryan has taken or defended hundreds of depositions, and he also has extensive experience in conducting hearings and mediations, obtaining dispositions or resolutions of over one hundred cases (and counting). Outside of his legal work, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Christina, and their two dogs, Capri and Benji, as well as watching football, especially his Alma Mater, the Texas Longhorns.
