Sarah Stogner splits her time between New Orleans and West Texas, primarily advising companies working in the upstream and midstream sectors on negotiating contracts and litigating indemnity and insurance recovery issues.
Since 2008, Sarah has been instrumental in helping clients recover under multiple types of insurance policies, including general liability, excess/umbrella, well control, property, stand-alone pollution, and other policies.
Sarah has been recognized by her peers as an A/V Preeminent rated advocate. She is a frequent presenter on issues affecting the energy industry, hosting the Oil & Gas Global Network’s Legal & Risk Management podcast and frequently speaking at industry events. She currently serves on the board for the Association of Energy Service Companies and the Permian Basin chapter of the Women’s Energy Network. She graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2008 and earned a B.S. in International Trade & Finance from LSU summa cum laude in 2005.
