Zuniga v. Farmers Texas County Mutual Insurance Co.
The court refused to vacate its 2017 opinion finding that punitive damages were not covered under an auto policy even though the issue became moot based on a subsequent Supreme Court of Texas opinion rendered in the underlying liability case because the court lacked plenary power to do so. The court, however, dismissed the appeal as moot.
