Court: ND Tx  05/29/2020  Insured's Motion to Remand Granted on Amount in Controversy Grounds

After removal by auto insurer of a UIM dispute, the insured filed a motion to remand on the grounds that the policy limits at issue were below $75,000, and a court of the Northern District of Texas granted the motion to remand, finding the policy limits control despite insured's allegations in its petition that she sought monetary relief greater than $200,000.
