Sentinel Insurance Co. v. Ortiz

Court: 5th Cir  04/30/2020  Fifth Circuit Rules against Workers' Compensation Insurer over Issue of Standing

The court found that a decision by the division of workers' compensation only addressed the employment relationship of a deceased worker and did not require the insurer to pay reimbursement of premium or authorize the insured to recoup any money from the insurer.
