Newsom v. Reliance Life Insurance Co.
A district court of the Northern District of Texas reversed the finding of an administrative appeal in favor of a disability insurer, holding the insured was entitled to long-term disability benefits because the insured qualified as a full-time employee as his "regular work week" was for more than thirty hours per week, regardless of the number of hours actually worked.
