Court: WD Tx  10/08/2020  Summary Judgment Granted Against Homeowner on All Claims but Prompt Payment

A magistrate of the Western District of Texas recommended that summary judgment be granted in favor of a homeowner's insurer on all of a homeowner's claims arising from storm damage except claims under Texas Insurance Code Section 542 concerning prompt payment, finding all other claims were barred by the insurer's payment of an appraisal award.
