Court: Tx 9-Beaumont  09/24/2020  Insurer Not Entitled to Discovery on Loss Valuation Based on Record

The court found that the insurer had not established that the district court had abused its discretion by quashing witness subpoenas and refusing to compel document production regarding whether an appraisal award was the result of fraud, accident or mistake because the record did not include any evidence indicating that the insurer had raised this as an issue in its pleadings.
