Court: 5th Cir  09/11/2019  Fifth Circuit Reverses District Court and Renders Judgment Against Benefits Provider on Standing Grounds

The court determined that the ERISA plan's anti-assignment provision was not ambiguous and, therefore, was enforceable, so the benefit provider did not have standing to sue the plan administrator for allegedly underpaid claims.
