The Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, through its governing Council, has initiated its inaugural Annual Student Writing Competition to be coordinated by its newly-formed Law Student Writing Competition Committee for 2020.
The Competition is an annual (September 1 – December 31) state-wide competition, open to written submissions of insurance-related articles authored by law students in good standing from any of the ten accredited law schools in Texas. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $4,000.
The Submission Deadline is December 10, 2020. The subject of the Submission must be an insurance law, insurance coverage, and/or an insurance law-related topic, to be chosen at the discretion of the student author.
